Beyond the Deep Blue

I have been illustrating stories, comics and creating characters for a very long time however this project was the first time my work would be published into a paperback story book. As soon as I read the script it sparked my imagination as it is a story all about adventures and sailing. Two things I love. 

I turned the tight deadline to complete the book into motivation to get it finished. Achal and I are really happy with the final illustrations. 

I hand drew all of the characters and scenes. Then painted out copious amounts of watercolours and acrylics to create skies full of stars, endless sea, texture for deep sea monsters and splatty waves. The pages were then finished digitally.
